I am a local business owner in Kirklees, with over a decade of experience creating jobs and working closely with customers and communities. Through my work in retail, I see first-hand the pressures families are facing every day, from rising costs to overstretched local services.
I have been active in local politics since 2015. For me, it has always been about listening to residents and working hard to get things done.
If elected, my priorities for Batley East will be:
• Fixing roads and tackling the pothole backlog
• Cracking down on fly-tipping and keeping our streets clean
• Supporting and revitalising Batley Town Centre
• Protecting and repairing Batley Library
• Addressing anti-social behaviour and improving community safety
• Tackling nuisance parking and improving access for residents and businesses
• Working towards long-term burial provision for all communities
• Supporting families through the cost of living crisis
• Creating better opportunities for young people
I believe Batley East deserves a representative who is visible, accountable and committed all year round, not just at election time.
