I’m standing as an independent because I don’t believe our town should be run by party politics. Decisions should be based on what’s right for Batley, not what suits a party agenda.

Over the years, I’ve been actively involved in the community, speaking to residents, supporting local initiatives, and highlighting the real issues people face day to day. The same concerns keep coming up: cleanliness, accountability, lack of investment, and slow or no action from those in charge.

We all pay into the system. We all deserve better standards.

If elected, I will focus on raising standards across the board. That means holding the council to account, pushing for visible improvements in our streets and services, and making sure your voice is heard where it matters.

I won’t disappear after the election. I’m already out there, and that won’t change.

This isn’t about promises. It’s about doing the job properly.
