Independent. Local. On Your Side.

Dear Resident,
Batley West isn’t just where we live, it’s our community, and it deserves to come first.

I’m asking for your support to continue serving you as your local councillor focused on people, not party politics.

Through my work in the NHS as a mental health professional, and as a long-standing community campaigner, I understand the pressures local families face because I see them every day and live them too.

Over the past eight years, I’ve worked to deliver real results for Batley West supporting residents with local issues, standing up for transparency in council decisions, and helping local businesses through challenging times. I believe being a councillor means being visible, approachable, and getting things done.

In 2024, I made the difficult decision to step away from party politics because I could no longer support decisions that were not putting our community first.

I answer to you, not a political party.

Across Batley West, I hear the same concerns: rising costs, stretched services, and people feeling unheard. You deserve a councillor who listens and takes action.

I will continue working with you to:
Keep our streets safe and tackle local concerns
Maintain cleaner, well-cared-for neighbourhoods
Support both physical and mental health in our community
Invest in young people and local community projects
Ensure fair, open, and transparent decision-making

Being your councillor means being present, listening, and acting, working side by side with residents to build a stronger, safer Batley West.

This election isn’t about party labels, it’s about who will stand up for you.
