Statement to voters
Having lived all over the United Kingdom, I settled in Newcastle 15 years ago to start my family, and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Full statement
Newcastle is filled with friendly, hard working, family focused communities. These proud communities have been neglected Chrough funding cuts in recent years, which has caused an increase in anti social behaviour and vandalism. These problems are compounded by a lack of resources along with the cost of living crisis.
I want to see an increase in funding to the outer wards of Newcastle. I want to see an increase in amenities for children, teenagers and families. I want our children to have access to a more positive, green future. Access to a good education and a properly funded Special Educational Needs programs.
We deserve a cleaner city with more green energy, more local investment and more work opportunities, family support and youth projects.
