• Resident in ward since 1983, knows and loves West Green.

• Passionate about social justice and Palestine.
With other Green candidates, wants better rights for private renters; a larger share of housing developments to be for social rent; better repairs and insulation to end cold, damp homes. Evictions and high rents lead to homelessness. Not only one of the worst miseries; it means a huge council bill which could be spent on improving other community services.
As a retired academic research worker, hoping to make a strong contribution to the borough team on social care and older people’s issues, after several years of work and publication in this area
• Has been in the leadership of Haringey over 50s Forum since 2017, and represents it on the Haringey Joint Partnership Board for Adult Social Services and the Haringey Age Well Board
