We can all see how austerity, privatisation, and top-down politics have eroded trust and harmed ordinary people.

I am not afraid to name the source of the problem, successive governments in Westminster which have cut funding while giving councils even more responsibilities. This has to stop and we need to explain this reality to our neighbours and unite them in order to fight back. If elected as your local councillor, I will fight any budget that proposes further cuts and stand with the people most affected.

Let's make Islington work for the many, not the few.
