Statement to voters
I’ve lived in the borough for 14 years, and like many residents I’ve seen both what makes this a great place to live and where things could be done better.

As someone with a family here, using local schools and services, I understand the pressures people are facing — from the cost of living to the strain on local services — and the feeling that too often people are paying more but not getting the value they should.
I’m standing as a Labour candidate to give residents a stronger voice locally. I care about this area and the people in it, and I want to see a council that listens properly and focuses on the things that matter day to day — decent housing, clean and safe streets, and reliable local services.
Labour’s plan is about delivering a fairer, greener and more caring borough, with better value for money and real investment in our communities.
