As the lead pastor of a Christian church in Islington (The Angel Church) and as a resident of this borough for more than a decade I am well aware of the many positives and negatives of life in our borough.

There is no other place in this city or country where I would rather be. I am deeply invested in seeing the lives of those around me bettered and truly want to see each individual in Islington, no matter their age, stage, or ability flourish. This is, I hope, well evidenced in my church and community work which spans interaction with every type of person with every type of need you can imagine.

Local government plats a very important role in helping achieve the best for each individual person as part of the larger collective of our city and of our nation. I am not in the business of toxic negativity that is consuming so much of our politics across the political spectrum. I have no desire to impugn or discredit any of our public servants in the tasks they have undertaken, I am sure to the best of their ability within their capacity. I do know and believe we could do better. I believe the people of Islington could be better looked after and I believe the people of Tufnell Park could have better representation. I will not make promises I may not be able keep due to democratic procedures or beurocratic red tape, but I can promise my complete commitment and attentiveness in representing the people of Tufnell Park fairly and well.
