Statement to voters

I’ve been part of the Bunhill community for decades, first as a student, then as a resident and small business owner, and I want to see it thrive even more.

Full statement

After years of the same old ideological approach running Islington Council, I’m standing to give Bunhill a fresh, practical voice - someone who listens, speaks up when needed, and rolls up their sleeves to get things done.

I’m experienced in helping communities and businesses tackle challenges, both as a local Councillor and international trader, so I know how to make things work and get results. That’s exactly what I want to bring to the Council.

I believe in sensible, Conservative values that make a real difference for residents: good services that respect residents’ tax money, strong community spirit, thriving small businesses, and rewarding hard work. I also care about keeping our streets safe, tackling anti-social behaviour, and making sure our Bunhill area, from Charterhouse Square to Old Street, from St. Luke's to Finsbury Square, is a place we’re all proud to call home.

Promoted by Dean Spencer Carroll on behalf of Sara Abey, both at Islington Conservative Federation, Kemp House, 152-160 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX
