Statement to voters
My name is Seb and I work as an academic researcher in sociology – which means I try to understand how society works, why it changes and how government policy affects people’s lives.
Full statement
I have a PhD from University of Warwick, which is what brought me to Coventry twelve years ago.
One of my favourite things about Coventry is the community spirit – I’ve had to move house a few times and always found friendly neighbours who are looking out for me.
If elected as local councillor, my priorities will be to push for an increase in local government funding to tackle the current under-funding crisis and make Coventry a more affordable and environmentally friendly place to live.
