Ian has lived in Claygate for over 30 years.

Since his retirement he has been a trustee of the local Recreation Ground, helping the local community make the most of the green space in the centre of the village.
He is a keen runner and can often be seen out running on the paths in the woods around the village. Ian has organised the much-loved annual Claygate Country 5 run for the last 3 years.
As a councillor I will seek practical solutions to address the community's problems and issues. Everyone should be treated fairly and have equal opportunity to
access to the services and infrastructure they need. This is underpinned by our mutual need to avoid harming the environment and nature.
