Statement to voters
My family has called Hinchley Wood home for 22 years.
Full statement
Both my kids went to the Hinchley Wood schools and Esher College, and during this time we've supported both schools and the local scouts. Rich - my husband - was also a coach for one of the Claygate Royals Football team.
Nearly 10 years ago, I set up the SaveHWLD Green Belt group with one of my neighbours. Since then we've fought hard with the Long Ditton Residents Association, and neighbours across Hinchley Wood and Long Ditton to protect local green spaces. In 2023 we successfully secured Village Green status for Stokes Field and One Tree Hill - protecting it for residents forever.
