Statement to voters

My name is Harrison, and I have proudly called Hersham home my entire life.

Full statement

For the past four years, I have served as a councillor in Elmbridge, where I have seen firsthand the failures of both the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats.

I have stood up for residents, secured funding for local schools and charities, and opposed unpopular developments like the Hersham Centre plans because I believe our community deserves better.

What is clear in this election is that it will be a tight race between real change or more of the same failure. Having worked alongside both the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats on the council, I can tell you it often feels like two sides of the same coin. That is why Hersham feels no different, regardless of which of them is in charge.

This could be Hersham’s last chance to take a different path. It is time for real, lasting, genuine change.

I will continue to stand up for residents, fight for proper infrastructure alongside development, and protect our Green Belt and the character of the place we all call home.
