My daughter attended our local schools, and my family has long benefited from the fantastic facilities and community centres that make Hersham special. I am not a career politician; in fact, I have never been political before. However, I am opinionated when it comes to the future of our community, and I believe it is time for a change.

40 Years of Business Leadership
I am standing for Reform UK because I believe our council needs the "common-sense" approach that only real-world experience can provide. I have spent 40 years in business as a company director, starting multiple high-technology businesses and managing large-scale companies. I know how to bring organisational clarity and rigorous fiscal management to complex projects—skills that are desperately needed as we face the challenges of the new unitary authority.

Listening to You, Not Social Media
I don’t do social media. I prefer the old-fashioned way: speaking directly to people. In this campaign alone, I have knocked on over 4,000 doors.

On the doorstep, the issues are clear:

• Protecting our Green Belt: Stopping the overdevelopment that threatens the character of Hersham.

• Restoring Community Centres: Reversing the decimation of the local hubs that bring us together.

• Supporting our Children: Fighting for the proper support and resources for children with Special Educational Needs (SEND).

• Fixing the Basics: Addressing the neglected state of our roads and the endless cycle of potholes.

Common Sense for Hersham
The current council often lacks basic empathy and common sense. Recently, I spoke with a blind resident who was told by the council to "send her request in by text." This is the kind of bureaucratic nonsense that happens when councillors lose touch with reality. Which of today’s councillors has championed her issue?

As your councillor, I will manage the upcoming challenges of the new unitary authority with local people and the community in mind, not globalist ideologies or wasteful spending. It’s time for a representative who listens, understands real struggles, and has the business experience to deliver results.
