I am standing to give Coleman Street Ward practical, energetic representation rooted in working City life.

I work in financial markets and corporate affairs and have spent 15 of my 20 working years in the City of London (the other five in Westminster politics). I understand the businesses, workers, residents, churches and cultural institutions that make this ward distinctive.

If elected, my priorities will be simple: get the basics right, support a thriving working ward, and ensure the City plans properly for growth.

That means clean, safe, well-managed streets; better waste management; more cycle parking; good public realm; and a ward that remains attractive for businesses, workers, residents and visitors alike.

The City is planning for significant new office growth. That ambition must be matched by the services, amenities and practical delivery needed to support it.

I will bring a pragmatic, constructive and commercially minded approach.

I am serious about the City and ambitious to ensure this ward grows from strength to strength. I am committed to making sure Coleman Street has a representative who understands its working life today and its opportunities for the future.
