Statement to voters

I'm proud to be running to represent our community as a Labour Member of Parliament.

Full statement

The newly created Newton Aycliffe and Spennymoor constituency is my home. I was born, raised and live in Aycliffe, Mam trained at Aycliffe Hospital, Dad went to school in Ferryhill and my Grandad grew up in Trimdon.

I've dedicated my career to making a difference and have a track record of making things happen. I have professional experience of managing large teams and budgets as a housing association director, helping to build genuinely affordable homes. As a senior leader in a large local authority, I delivered major regeneration projects which brought jobs, homes and community facilities.

It would be a huge honour to be able to use my skills and experience to be the powerful voice our area deserves in Westminster.
