Statement to voters

Kirsty has lived in Ipswich for 13 years, including 10 years in St Margaret’s ward.

Full statement

After a decade studying environmental politics and working in Brussels and Westminster, she moved into the charity sector in Ipswich, advising community groups and small businesses on governance and energy efficiency. Since having children Kirsty has retrained in environmental education and child development. She now works as a forest and beach school leader for the local wildlife trust and as a pastoral support practitioner at St Margaret’s Primary School.

"I stand as a Green Party candidate to protect our natural environment and encourage fairness and kindness in our society. If elected I would fight against air pollution, town centre congestion, fuel poverty and inequality. I would champion community spaces, sustainable housing, and the local green economy. I‘d advocate for the protection of children’s well-being and access to nature for every child."
