I live here in the Black Country with my wife and young family.

We have fallen further behind London and the South East in terms of incomes and investment. While progress is being made in the West Midlands overall, it seems to be taking a while to filter down to Dudley Borough and Dudley North. I cannot believe we’re still looking at the eyesore Cavendish House and what to do with Dudley Hippodrome remains unresolved.

I’d like to see more done to support the high street and even the playing field with the digital retailers, and to repurpose our town centres to better protect our local communities. We’re the fifth largest economy in the world, so we shouldn’t have young people sleeping rough on our streets.

As your MP I would work to empower and unite the local community, to access better educational opportunities for all, tackle our adult social care and mental health challenges, and protect the environment for our young people’s futures.
