Statement to voters
I sailed as a Chief Engineer in the Merchant Navy.
Full statement
I am a first-language Welsh speaker who has lived in Hendy, since 1986.
Since retiring in 2014 I have run a number of local charities and food banks. Among other things I led a successful campaign to prevent increases in pitch fees in the Carmarthenshire League to a level that would have finished grass roots sport. I was one of the founder members of Hendy Junior Football, and many of the boys came from Llangennech.
I enjoy a quiet moment in the Morlais (Smiths) in Llangenech.
I have to pay tribute to the late Gary Jones who helped me when the food bank was in the Farmers in Llangennech. Even so, Labour and Plaid Cymru have failed Llangenech and Wales, Over reduced services at Prince Philip hospital, Council Care, the 20mph fiasco, and locally the sale of the RN
Carmarthen CC is deep in debt due to Plaid Cymru mismanagement.
There is a need for greater honesty and transparency in Carmarthenshire County Council workings, and communication with the electorate.
There is only one party that puts Wales first, and that’s Gwlad and I am proud to represent Gwlad in the Llangennech elections on 7 August
