Statement to voters

I am 53 years Old and was born in Norwich. I have lived in Old/New Costessey all my life apart from a brief spell of 8 years living in Bowthorpe. There’s been a lot of changes here over the years not all for the good. I’m particularly concerned about the level of building in recent years which has reached saturation point. I fear it is not over yet. The recent threat to the Tud River Valley has been particularly alarming for residents including myself who was directly affected by a recent application. I would strongly oppose large scale developments that would be detrimental to the residents of New Costessey. I would also look into what’s happening with Street lights in the area that quite a few residents have been complaining about.

This statement was added by Michelle Newton, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
