Statement to voters
Since being elected in 2016, Catherine has been working hard for the residents of Wotton-under-Edge, North Nibley and Stinchcombe.
Full statement
Catherine lives in Wotton and loves walking in the local area with her family and dog. She’s a law graduate, and has always had an interest in politics and community development. She currently works in emergency planning and has experience of project management.
Catherine supports many local organisations, including sports and recreation groups, Wotton Fairtrade Town, road safety and climate action projects. She attends local parish and town council meetings and is always pleased to meet with community groups.
Engaging with young people is important to Catherine and she has met with students from the local primary and secondary schools, the Brownies and Scouts. She attends Wotton Youth Partnership meetings and is supporting the Wotton Youth Forum with an ongoing project to install solar lighting along the OK footpath to KLB School.
