Statement to voters
I am an experienced Councillor with a track record of delivering and a long record of achievements for our community 3 generations of my family live in the division giving me a clearer picture of what is needed across the community and I am passionate about delivering for my community and family and recognise our biggest strength is when we work together I come from a military family and work as a retail manager for a leading supermarket, I am married with 2 children who have now left home giving me more time to give back to our community I am an experienced Councillor and chair of Innsworth Parish Council as well as planning lead for Longford and Twigworth Parish Councils I was a Tewkesbury Borough Councillor for 8 years covering Innsworth, Longford, Twigworth and Down Hatherley parishes, where I also chaired the licencing committee, the boundary review working group and sat on the scrutiny committee along with other roles I am a fully trained and active GRCC flood warden within the division and trained in emergency planning.
Full statement
I am also a governor of a schools partnership within the division
I am standing for Reform as I feel the established Partys have lost touch with the actual people they are supposed to represent and sincerely believe we need change
I realise there is still more to learn as life is a continual learning curve and I will endeavor to try to meet as many of you as possible to enable me to best meet your needs
We face some serious threats and challenges within our division from over development and lack of infrastructure to flooding and many in between, as a result
our area needs strong representation and someone who will put you above local party politics and I ask you to please support me to deliver for you
