Statement to voters
I am a long-standing Staines resident and campaigner. Elected as a Borough Council for South Staines in 2019, I have continued to fight for residents' interests on a range of issues including opposing plans for high rise development in Staines. I believe our area gets a raw deal from Surrey and is treated as a poor relation, so I'm standing for election to Surrey County Council. With my professional background in transport management, I have relevant experience in tackling the burning issues surrounding transport and the state of our roads. I pledge to continue to stand up for local people.
