Statement to voters
Captain Beany, a well known charity fundraiser and community champion, is currently contesting the constituency of Aberavon in the GE2019.
During the 2016 Referendum, the UK electorate were granted the privilege to decide whether to leave or remain in the EU!
The Aberavon constituency overwhelmingly in favour of leave by 60%!
However the incumbent existing Member of Parliament deemed the electorate vote non compliant and therefore voted to REMAIN!
This I may state, is a flagrant abuse of democracy and it should had been in favour of the constitutional vote!
Therefore, if I was elected as Member of Parliament for Aberavon, I would effectively make my stance as LEAVE and push through for a future Brexit deal!
This statement was added by Captain Beany, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
Captain Beany is a Welsh eccentric and charity fundraiser in Sandfields, Port Talbot, south Wales.Read more on Wikipedia
