Statement to voters

Ross was born in 1981 and grew up in Irvine in the Irvine east ward, He Has worked in Health and Social care for over 16 years.

Along with being dyslexic this makes Him very passionate and knowledgeable about disability rights. This is the second time they are standing in Irvine east so are keen to build on last time around. Ross will work to give pupils, parents and teachers a larger say on how schools are run and how the money is spent. He will champion for better conditions for health and social care staff. Also improving financial security for unpaid carers He will put local communities at the heart of planning, prioritising their needs over those of big developers and protecting precious green and open space. Ross will ensure that Council land is managed to adapt to and mitigate climate change in a way that delivers nature-rich places, benefiting wildlife and people. Ross will also Encourage shops and post offices in local high streets, rather than chain stores or out-of-town development. He will Support grass-roots sporting activities, such as running clubs Ross encourages you to Think Global, Act local and vote Scottish Greens 1st preference this election.
