Statement to voters

Born the eldest of eleven siblings, Malcolm and his wife of 37 years, have three children and five grand children.

Full statement

Brought up predominantly on a small holding near Aberfeldy, in 1994 they moved to Lewis, where both sets of parents still reside. Malcolm studied and worked in the horticultural industry before the couple took on the care of his sister with additional needs, subsequently becoming foster carers for the local authority.

Through local committees, music, crofting and the local church he has got to know the community.

The decline in the way the country has been governed, and the disdain with which the main stream parties treat the voting public, has inspired him to get involved with ReformUK Scotland.

If elected he would prioritise ‘Family, Community and Country’ backed by the old Stornoway Town Council motto ‘Gods Providence is our Inheritance’.

This statement was added by Malcolm Ivor McTaggart, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
