Statement to voters

There are many here in Scotland who believe that our country should be independent but not part of the EU. There are many who support Scottish independence but not socialism. The Scottish Libertarian Party is the only party giving you the chance to express that opinion at the ballot box.
The Scottish Libertarian Party is a pro-independence, anti-EU party. Unlike the larger parties, we do not want to see power held by expensive and unnecessary layers of government in Brussels or London. We are not even content to see power monopolised by whatever regime happens to be in charge at Holyrood. Instead we want to see power wielded by your local community, your private household and you the individual. You are the best person to make decisions about your life – not some distant politician.
