Why am I campaigning in Clacton, a town I used to love to cycle to as a teenager from Basildon where I lived over 60yrs ago.

My name is Tom Darwood a retired carpenter, but as you see I shall be campaigning under the name Joseph77, simply because my life of three zeros converging upon my years, has conferred upon myself as a true 21st century Joseph 77. In other words my life reflects Joseph, the only biblical figure who in effect became a 'Surrogate Prime Minister'. I believe if you elect me as your MP I shall go on to become a 'Surrogate Prime Minister' of the United Kingdom.

I shall campaign in song and verse, things I have written, I'll sing and recite around Clacton to unify the country with a purpose. Let's 'kick off' with a World Club Anthem, set to the tune 'Onward Christian Soldiers', followed by a rebirth of the famous hymn 'Onward Christian Soldiers'. With just an anthem and a hymn I will have united the religious with the secular. A great step to 'Getting our country back!' Politicians have failed to unify our country I hope I can show the electorate I can.
