“I’m incredibly proud to be selected as a Labour candidate in Denne, my local ward for the local elections in May.
Full statement
I have been a member of the Party for over 30 years and I am also a member of Unite. I am a retired Property Solicitor and have been an active member in the Crawley, Tunbridge Wells, Wealden branches as well as this branch since moving here in 2014. I have stood as a Labour candidate in Denne and Southwater wards previously and look forward to standing again in Denne in 2019 in order to put forward a progressive socialist message. I am also an active member of Amnesty International and consequently have a keen interest in human rights issues. In my leisure time I am a keen reader as well as enjoying sport, although now just as a spectator rather than as a participant!”
