Statement to voters
Jon is well known in Melksham as a hard-working local councillor. He has spearheaded many campaigns in the community including gaining the 20mph speed limits in residential areas around Coronation Road and Kenilworth Gardens. Following those successes Jon then secured funding from the Town Council to purchase eight Speed Indicator Devices for use across the town. Jon has long championed young people and set up the charity Young Melksham. During the pandemic Jon helped set up
and continued to help run the successful Melksham Community Support project.
Jon lives in Melksham with his wife Annette and their dog, Lottie.
