Statement to voters

Martin has lived in March for 30 years and brought up his two sons here.

Full statement

Martin taught for 20 years at Neale-Wade. He has also been a school governor and served on Fenland District Council for March East. He has also worked with numerous local charities and organisations. He has also been a Town Councillor for March East, where he stood up for the local community, environment and services, against mostly Tory, councillors.

Martin worries that local democracy has been compromised by the fact that local Tory councillors feel they will always get re-elected no matter what they do, so they no longer bother to listen to local people properly about what their needs and wants are.

This statement was last updated on March 26, 2025.

This statement was added by Martin Edmund Craik Field, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
