Statement to voters
"Mark was born in Ipswich and first moved to the Fynn Valley in 1982. Mark is an experienced Management Consultant with a business career based both in the UK and abroad. In the early-nineties, Mark was co-author of Euromethod, a method for establishing a standards based common market for IT Services across the EU. Mark remains ardently pro-European, and retains a clear understanding of the many ways that EU membership has benefited the United Kingdom, and Suffolk in particular. Outside of his family, Mark is a keen sportsman and hill walker.
Mark fully supports the Liberal Democrats goals to build a fair, free and open society, balancing the values of liberty, equality and community. If elected he will prioritise his efforts on securing investment for local services and infrastructure, and seek to mitigate the impact of the Ipswich garden suburb on Carlsford and Fynn Valley's existing services and road infrastructure."
