Statement to voters
Born and raised in Gurnard, I was first elected as an Independent IW Councillor in 1995, and have represented Cowes West and Gurnard since 2009.

As Councillor, I’ve held key positions and given residents support in planning, the environment, coastal protection, flooding, transport, waste, children’s services and public protection.
Outside the IW Council, I actively serve on three parish/ Town Councils, am Trustee of the Footprint Trust and magistrate. I chair the Isle of Wight Local Access Forum and since 2025 served as Chair of regional fisheries organisation Southern IFCA.
As Ward Councillor, I’m committed to being hardworking, transparent and putting Cowes and Gurnard first.
