Statement to voters
Ian has lived in the ward for fifteen years, knows it well.
Full statement
He works for the Co- operative Group and is an active member of Labour's sister party, the Co-operative Party, as well as his trade union, USDAW.
Ian says: “I strongly believe in supporting our high street shops, which are so essential to our communities. Over the last four years, I have been active in the campaign to make it a specific offence to assault shop-workers, so I am pleased to see this is part of the Government's new Crime and Policing Bill.”
He is concerned about the difficulty in accessing NHS dentistry in Chippenham and wants to see this resolved. Ian will be a strong voice for local people.
