How I Would Serve you
We stand for social equality, embracing diversity and encouraging social engagement.
More thought is needed about infrastructure, flood-risk and drainage as housing numbers increase.
Jason wants to see properly funded, integrated Health and Social Care in the community.
He actively promotes use of green energy and protecting the environment and if elected would strongly challenge any proposals for fracking in Nottinghamshire.
"As your County Councillor, I will ensure that Nottinghamshire County Council declares a Climate Emergency and leads the way on the Green Recovery we need."
When Liberal Democrats say put recovery first, we mean creating a fairer, greener, more caring society, and at the heart of this plan is ensuring the recovery is green. A recovery that faces up to the existential threat of climate change.
Years of Conservative cuts to council funding and a local leadership in denial of the full effects of Climate Change will make recovery harder. The green recovery cannot happen without proper investment in infrastructure (schools and road safety) to avoid a local climate disaster (more cars = more pollutants and less safety).
