Rebecca Shoob's policies
Statement to voters
I am standing to represent Folkestone West division on Kent County Council in the election on May 1st.
Full statement
I was first elected to Folkestone & Hythe District Council in 2019 and since 2023 have been the Cabinet member for Housing & Homelessness.
I have lived in Folkestone since 2012 and have known the area for most of my life, my parents having grown up in Hythe. I started my career in the travel industry before moving into project management. I have volunteered with advice charities and refugee projects and was one of the founders of Incredible Edible in Cheriton, whose volunteers maintain planters on the high street and at Folkestone West train station.
I am committed to making a positive impact on my community and ensuring that the voices of all residents are heard.
Promoted by Malcolm Watkinson on behalf of Rebecca Shoob and Shepway Green Party. Both at White Lodge, Church Road, New Romney, TN28 8EX.
