Statement to voters

I would like to introduce myself and to ask kindly if you would consider voting for me to help you with your local issues and problems at Buckinghamshire Council.

Full statement

The election is on 1th May 2025.

You live in the newly formed ‘Sands’ ward. They have reduced the number of Bucks Cllrs down, there will only be one candidate that would be elected for Sands. I am asking you to consider voting for me.

I understand that residents are not happy with the state of our roads, schools, waste collection, social care and many other services that are controlled by Buckinghamshire Council. The Council has been run by the Conservatives since 1889 for over 130 years (former Bucks County and now Bucks Unitary Council) and we keep seeing Council Tax rises and assets being sold off, such as the old Wycombe District Council offices and £28million worth of other assets in the last 4 years and yet services keep getting cut and, in some cases, disappear altogether (no longer provided by the Council).

As an Independent I can concentrate exclusively on the communities if re-elected, ensuring that we get our roads resurfaced, that the police are on hand to deal with problems, that schools are doing the best they can and that your corner of the world is looked after despite all of the cutbacks we have all had to suffer over the last 15 years or so.

Other candidates from political parties will be knocking on your door making all sorts of promises to ask for you to vote for them but what they are not telling you is that they firstly have to answer to a ‘party whip’ meaning they have to vote on what is best for their own political party leadership at Aylesbury and Westminster and leaving you the voter behind and without real help.

My drive is to carry on making a positive impact for Sands.

I promise one thing, if re-elected I shall continue to fight, rolling my sleeves up and do what’s best for YOU. Always being approachable, accessible, helpful and honest. So please consider voting for me if you want me in your corner.
