Henry was born and raised in Wigan and went to school locally.

Growing up, Henry felt Wigan really wasn't getting the investment it deserves so he has been a real supporter of the Conservative Government's Levelling Up missions, designed to ensure towns like ours get the Government investment they deserve.

£20 million for Haigh Hall. Rebuilding 8 schools across the borough. £10 million for Wigan through the Shared Prosperity Fund. Over 1,200 more police for the region.

All this shows the Conservatives are delivering for Wigan but now we need to protect that delivery. Labour want to cancel our Levelling Up missions, Henry will fight for more investment in our town, not less.

Henry is also committed to holding Labour-run Wigan Council to account. The council's failure to properly support our market traders is just the latest failure of our local Labour politicians who are taking Wiganers for granted. We have had a Labour MP for over a century and a Labour council since it was founded. Only a Conservative MP can hold our Labour council to account - it's time for change.

Henry will always put the people of Wigan first. Whether it is on the NHS, education, transport, unsustainable immigration, Henry will make the case for proper funding, better services and strong controls on immigration.
