Statement to voters
Born and bred in the area, Adrian Barton is a well known local councillor who has been heavily involved in many aspects of Whitnash matters for much of his life, and over the last 15 years, as part of Whitnash Town Council.
He has, and continues to, work tirelessly for the Town, and is currently serving his second term as Whitnash Mayor.
Adrian lives in Whitnash, with his partner who along with his daughter work locally for the NHS, and he owns and runs his own business within the town. In addition to serving as a town councillor, church warden at St Margaret’s, former school governor and other roles, he is an active fundraiser for the Royal British Legion, and continues to be chairman and secretary of the very successful Whitnash Fun Day.
He is passionate about promoting Whitnash as a town to be proud of. With his vast knowledge and links to a number of groups within the local area, he is in a great position to represent the people of Whitnash at District level.
He has a good working relationship with everyone he deals with, regardless of their political background. At local level, party politics is an irrelevance and a distraction. You just need someone to get on with it. Adrian will bring to District what he already brings to Town. COMMITMENT!
Adrian is your best local, independent, and experienced candidate, and he hopes to secure your vote on 2nd December.
