Statement to voters
Louis has been selected as the Liberal Democrat candidate for the Feldon division at the County Council election in May.

Louis is a Long Itchington resident and existing District Councillor.
Louis said, ‘It has been a privilege to serve as the District Councillor for Long Itchington for the last six years, alongside my Lib Dem colleagues representing the other District Council wards that cover the Division: Susan Ostrander in Harbury, and also Natalie Gist and Nigel Rock for Bishops Itchington and Fenny Compton Ward.’
Louis represented other villages around Southam before the boundary changes in 2023 and has been a Parish Councillor for ten years. He has recently taken on the role of parish champion at the District Council.
He is horrified to see the way local communities are treated by HS2 construction. A structural engineer himself, Louis cannot understand the indifference to the needs of local people this project represents.
If elected Louis will always put the interests of local residents first.
