Statement to voters
I am the only Independent candidate for this Division; I have never been a member of a political party and have no intention of joining one! I have been the Cornwall Councillor for Penzance Promenade Division for the last 8 years and was Chief Exec of the former Penwith District Council between 2000 and 2009.

I live, work and shop in Penzance and I always prioritise Penzance over party politics!
Amongst my achievements in the last 4 years as a Cornwall Councillor, have been securing funding for the 'new' promenade, working closely with 3 GP practices as they developed the fabulous new St Clare Medical Centre, and leading Penzance's successful bid for start of the forthcoming Tour of Britain cycle race.
A vote for me is a vote for a candidate with an excellent record of delivering election pledges, who provides strong, independent, positive leadership with a social conscience. My election leaflet is attached. Thank you for taking time to read this, JIM
