Statement to voters

I have many years’ experience in the Trade Union movement, helping others and fighting causes and I served briefly on Carn Brea Parish Council.

Full statement

I have lived in the area (Pool) for 52 years now, worked locally at Pool School and Cornwall College and have just finished working at Carn Brea Leisure Centre. I have volunteered at Tehidy Country Park, cleaning the river and keeping the ride clear. I brought up two children on my own, not an easy task, and I can relate to people facing hardship. I want to feel that I can use my experiences and time to benefit the community.
