David Beavan was the Liberal Democrats candidate in Southwold in the East Suffolk local election. Our volunteers have been adding information on David Beavan - here's everything we know so far!

Statement to voters

"David Beavan and his famiy have lived in Southwold and is a ship's captain. Last July David won an unprecedented By-election victory in the safe Conservative, District Council seat of Southwold & Reydon with 74% of the vote (turnout 49%).

Campaigning on Southwold Harbour issues, hospital closures, affordable homes, David has brought to the attention of Parliament, the need to close the tax loophole on second homes resulting in a recent announcement by the Chancellor for a public consultation."

This statement was added by David Beavan, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
