For me, being your local councillor isn’t just about representing our community at the Council.

It's much more personal than that. I grew up in Cirencester and attended Powell’s and then Deer Park Schools. Our town and its community has shaped the person that I’ve become. I’m passionate about giving back to the community that has given me so much.

Those who know me will know that I’ve got a record of action here in our community.

Whether that’s supporting residents affected by flooding, saving the Victoria Road playing field from development or getting local roads like Victoria Road, Watermoor Road and London road resurfaced; my number one priority is always delivering for residents.

It’s for this reason that I’m seeking to the County Council in May. I have three priorities that I want to address if re-elected:

1. Fixing our roads - our roads are in the worst condition they have ever been in. I will continue to fight for more road repairs.

2. Tidying up our town - unfortunately graffiti, flyposting and dog fouling seem to be getting worse.

3. Cost of living support - Under my leadership the district council has put a comprehensive package of support.
