I have been a Councillor in Dorset for 9 years, the last 5 for the Unitary Dorset Council.

My background is in both the public and private sectors with experience in running business and charity. During the inaugural 5 years with the Unitary I have served as Lead Member for both Highways and Adult Social Care and Health. The new Unitary has been hugely successful with our leadership, saving money without cutting front line services and transforming the way we work to bring in an ‘invest to save’ culture. All this with the pandemic, so something I am really proud of. I would love to be re elected to carry on with the job I started. Apart from that I love the job and the interaction with the residents in my ward!
