Statement to voters
Managing community based mental health services has given me a strong sense of how poverty and inequality sap people’s health and undermines communities. It’s hard to be a good parent when you’re frantic about money and even about where the next meal comes from. It’s hard to be emotionally and physically resilient when you live in a society that doesn’t value and support you. The Green Party is the only party that says we must place wellbeing for all at the centre of our policies and that our economic, educational and political systems must be the servants of that goal. The Green Party is the only British political party that aims to create a just, equitable & sustainable society within the earth’s ecological limits.
This statement was added by Hilary Wendt, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
