Statement to voters

Residents Deserves Better! Your Labour team will campaign on these local issues: 1.

Full statement

Fix Potholes – Create a South Staffs dedicated team to fix potholes. In partnership with the County Council, a new team of local workers.

2. Protect our Greenbelt – Build sustainable affordable homes for local people. Protect natural habitats for wildlife for our children’s futures. Extend local infrastructure with a focus on highways and school places.

3 Stop Crime and ASB - Make our local communities safe again. More local police engaged in tackling crime. Reduce anti-social behaviour through joined up action of youth services, social workers, religious bodies and law enforcement agencies.

4 Better Health Services – Improve access to GP’s and dentists through collaboration with health professionals.

5 Stop Dog Fouling – We will invest in more dog poo bins, better signage to promote good behaviour by dog owners and make our streets safe for children to play in.
