Statement to voters

As the Green Councillor for Mayals, Chris doesn’t just represent his community—he delivers for it.

Full statement

Whether he’s hand-delivering sandbags to residents in Blackpill during storms or tackling fly-tipping and potholes, Chris believes public office is about people, not party politics. Born in Swansea and raised in Brynhyfryd, his focus has always been on lifting people out of poverty and ensuring better outcomes for every family.

This mission is personal. As a father to a daughter with ASD, Chris is a fierce advocate for improving ALN provision in our schools and ending the poor practices that people with mental health issues endure where the NHS and care systems meet.

Chris is a proven leader on the national stage, too. He was the first councillor in Wales to pass a motion supporting the devolution of the Crown Estate—a move that is now unlocking vital funding for local councils across the country.

Local. Proven. A voice for our families.
