Dear Resident, I’d like to introduce myself as your candidate for Laindon Park ward at the upcoming borough council elections on the 4th of May.

I’m a passionate campaigner for the things that matter to the Laindon community. I have campaigned for the reopening of the Laindon Community Centre; I’ve pressured Network Rail into getting on with the job of fixing the footbridge from Durham Road to Mandeville Way; I’ve pushed for more investment from the Council in our parks and playgrounds.

All of these things I’ve been able to achieve.

Being elected as a councillor doesn’t make these things happen automatically. To deliver change I collaborate—whether with existing colleagues, or forging relationships at council, with agencies, contractors, or third parties.

Most importantly, I listen. Residents concerns can span from being in great need, on the brink of homelessness, to those little day-to-day irritations that no-one ever seems to do anything about. Whatever issues you might need to raise with me as your councillor, I will be there to listen to and understand you, and most importantly, deliver results!

I can’t do this without your help. Please consider casting your vote for me on Thursday 4th of May and deliver a better Laindon for all.
