Statement to voters
Having lived in the Cotswolds, Lancaster, Cambridge and Coventry, I moved to London in early 2017 to work for a higher education charity based in Bloomsbury, and joined the Liberal Democrats around the same time. I have found myself at home in both the city and the party, because of the common values of openness, tolerance and diversity, and I am proud to be representing those values as a candidate for Camden Borough Council.
I care passionately about working to improve society for everyone, whether that means investing in public transport and sustainable infrastructure to tackle air pollution, supporting youth services and outreach work to address knife crime, or boosting affordable housing to address intergenerational inequality. I am currently chairing a small policy working group, looking for radical, liberal solutions to homelessness and the housing crisis.
This statement was added by Jack Fleming, their team, or by a Democracy Club volunteer, based on information published by the candidate elsewhere.
